Decent lamb, packaging could improve
I purchased the lamb chops and diced lamb. The lamb chops cooked up nicely, very tender. The diced lamb was good for a stew. I appreciate that it's all grass-fed. The packaging was okay; everything was sealed well but the box itself looked a bit beat up on arrival. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about delivery times before ordering. I think the product is good value for the quality, though it's not the cheapest. I just hope they look into more robust outer packaging for shipping, especially for longer distances.
Great chicken, fast shipping
Got a whole chicken and some chicken thighs. Meat was fresh. Delivery was quick, arrived in 3 days. Will order again.
Good quality, minor delivery issue
I ordered the family meat pack and an egg subscription. The ordering process was pretty straightforward on their website, easy to navigate through the different products. Delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, which was within their estimated window, but the dry ice in the meat pack had mostly sublimated by the time it arrived. Everything was still cold though, so no spoilage. The pasture raised chicken and pork chops were excellent, very flavorful, and the eggs are noticeably better than store-bought. I had a question about the egg subscription details and used their customer service chat; the representative was helpful and answered my query quickly. Overall, the product quality is high and the service was good, just wished the packaging for shipping could hold up a bit better for longer transit times.
Consistently good products
I've ordered from Forage Farms a few times now, usually the breakfast boxes or some of their pork sausages. This time I got the nitrate free bacon and some more eggs. As always, the quality was consistent. The bacon has a great flavor, not overly salty like some brands. The eggs are still my favorite part, the yolks are always so vibrant. Delivery to California was on time, like my previous orders. They're reliable, which is why I keep coming back for their pasture-raised products.
